Gibraltar has emerged as one of the dominant bunkering ports in the Mediterranean. Thanks to the advantages offered by its geographical location and an enviable track record for first-class bunkering and ship agency services, around 4 million tonnes of bunker fuels are supplied per year from the Port of Gibraltar.

In Gibraltar, we source our bunker fuels from the Algeciras refinery, which is controlled by Gibunco Groups partner Cepsa. This means our customers are guaranteed delivery of premium quality products which surpass required specifications. All our products adhere to the ISO 8217 2005 regulations.
At the port of Gibraltar, Peninsula Petroleum has an extension jetty where we specialise in delivering our full range of fuels ex-pipe. We can also arrange MGO and AGO deliveries by RTW from the jetty.
Situated nearby, our in-house ship agency company, Gibunco Ship Agency is ideally placed to monitor bunker operations when nominated.
As part of its commitment to investing in modernising its bunker tanker fleet and maximising its capabilities, Peninsula Petroleum recently took delivery of the Gibunker 100 from the Dubai Dry Docks shipyard.
The tanker was launched in June 2007. She is a a double-hulled 6,200dwt tanker and represents a significant addition to the fleet.
